Miles Young has been capturing moments through the lens since 2012—but his love for photography started long before that. From the days of snapshot cameras in his youth, he’s always kept a camera in hand and an eye for beauty. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a lifelong passion for storytelling, connection, and creative expression.
Specializing in portrait photography, Miles is known for creating a vibrant, authentic experience that feels less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out with an old friend. His goal is simple: to help you feel seen, confident, and creatively inspired.
Over the years, he’s had the honor of working with celebrities like B. Simone and RL (of the R&B group Next), and he currently serves as the lead photographer for Jackson’s Juneteenth Festival and Jackson Public Schools. Whether he’s capturing an intimate portrait, an outdoor lifestyle shoot, or documenting a major event, Miles brings passion, precision, and personal connection to every frame.
